What we use SMS for
Trelis is a personal AI assistant platform that helps users coordinate shared family calendars with trusted contacts such as spouses, children, babysitters, and caregivers.
When a Trelis user creates a shared calendar through our web application, they explicitly add recipients by name and phone number. We then send a one-time SMS containing a calendar subscription link that allows the recipient to subscribe to that calendar in their phone’s native calendar app (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar).
No marketing content is ever sent — only invitation links to specific calendars the user has created.
All SMS messages from Trelis originate from (815) 473-3905.
Consent
Recipients are explicitly added by a Trelis user who knows them personally (a spouse, family member, babysitter, or caregiver). The user attests during the add-recipient flow that they have permission to send the invite.
Consent to receive SMS messages from Trelis AI is not a condition of purchasing or using the Trelis AI service. Calendar invitations can also be delivered via email as an alternative to SMS.
Message frequency
Recipients receive a single text message per calendar invitation. Trelis does not send follow-up texts, recurring messages, or message sequences. If a user re-sends an invitation, the recipient may receive one additional message.

Reply STOP to opt out.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message from Trelis to opt out of future SMS messages. You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request. No further messages will be sent after the confirmation.
You may also opt out by emailing Support@trelisai.com with the subject line “SMS Opt-Out” and your phone number.

Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Trelis AI does not charge any fees for SMS messages, but your carrier may apply standard messaging rates.
Supported carriers
SMS messages are sent to U.S. mobile numbers on supported carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include, but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their MVNOs.
Privacy
Phone numbers provided for calendar invitations are used solely to deliver the invitation text message. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer phone numbers or any information collected through SMS messaging to any third party for marketing purposes.
